Launceston Airport is the gateway for the TrailGraze weekend!

You’re invited to graze North West Tasmania’s Tasting Trail! From the 19th to the 21st of April, join over 30 producers on a weekend beyond the farmgate to taste, sip and discover some of the state’s most delicious produce, served up by the very people who call Tasmania’s food bowl home. The weekend-long celebration features the inaugural TrailGraze Dinner, exclusive on-site events, behind-the-scenes tours, and family-friendly activities. Need some ideas to kick-start your adventure? Here are some travel itineraries for you to explore.

Deloraine Trail

Experience a memorable day in Deloraine, starting with a visit to 41° South Tasmania, an eco-conscious salmon and ginseng farm. Enjoy a self-guided tour and butterfly hunt. Next, head to Meander Valley Vineyard for grape stomping and wine tasting. Join a mini-tour at The Truffle Farm to meet truffle dogs and taste freshly unearthed truffles. Afterwards, enjoy live music at Little Green Men Brewing and taste Western Tiers Distillery's new apple and cinnamon spirit.

Devonport to Sheffield Trail

Start your day with a caffeine fix at Leaping Goat Coffee or opt for a relaxing morning with a Stretch & Sip at House of Hargrave, blending yoga in the vines with mimosas over breakfast.

Later head south for a tour of Plump Berries' berry patch and sample small-batch fruit wines and liqueurs, go on an exclusive cellar tour and special release wine tasting at Eastford Creek Vineyard or indulge in a cheese and wine pairing with La Cántara Artisan Cheeses. 

End your day in Devonport with Island State Brewing's behind-the-scenes tour, featuring a flight of four award-winning beers.

Penguin to Devonport Trail

Family Fun Trail

Head to Hazelbrae, where you can pick your own hazelnuts and let the kids explore the hazelnut-themed craft tent. Then, head west to Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm for a fun-filled experience with lawn games, a berry-themed playground, and an array of irresistible raspberry desserts. Make a stop at Ashgrove Dairy Door for the ultimate Tasting Trail treats, including delicious toasties and cheese platters.

Just a short drive away, indulge your sweet tooth at Anvers Chocolate Factory, where you can participate in a workshop with their Master Chocolatier or simply enjoy lunch and some retail therapy in the chocolate shop.
