South Bank

If you want to relax and soak in the city, South Bank is the perfect place to explore. This lifestyle precinct contains luscious parklands, culture and the city’s famous Streets Beach. While you’re wandering, be sure to check out The Arbour, an iconic galvanised steel structure covered in the most magical magenta coloured Bougainvillaea, a beautiful tropical flower that makes an incredible backdrop to your holiday snaps!

Dives, dunes… and dolphins!

Situated just a short ferry ride from bustling Brisbane, Moreton Island is a picturesque paradise, perfect for a romantic getaway, an adventure with the family, or just a place to relax.

With accommodation and food on the island, the hardest decision you’ll have to make is what to do first! Spend a day snorkelling alongside shipwreck ruins in the clear blue waters, feeding the dolphins, and finish up with a serene night kayak! For a day in the dunes, the Tangalooma Desert has peaks ready for those seeking adventure.

Wheel of Brisbane

Located in the heart of the city, the Wheel of Brisbane is the very best way to take in the serene sights. Open from 10am-late, a ride on this ferris wheel makes for a great opportunity to watch the sunset or soak in those city lights.

Each carriage can hold up to 8 people making it perfect for the whole family or date night with a view.. There is no reservation required, so make sure to pop down next time you visit Brisbane.

A Shopper’s Dream

Is there any better way to fill in an afternoon (or a whole day!) than a bit of holiday shopping? Brisbane has something for everyone, with precincts like Westfield Chermside, and the DFO located at Skygate Precinct.

Packed with fashion, luxury brands and more, this shopping experience also sports many delicious food and beverage options for a quick lunch stop or an afternoon pick-me-up.

If your feet are sore after making your way around the stores we recommend finishing your day with a movie at the Event Cinemas in Westfield Chermside. Gold Class recliner seats are always a nice treat on holiday!

Fancy a day trip?

Want to explore more of the beautiful state of Queensland? Located just over an hour's drive away, the Gold Coast is a great place to get away, brimming with beautiful beaches and fun tourist attractions. If you’re a theme park fanatic, want to test out your golfing skills at Top Golf, or swim with the marine animals at Seaworld, there’s something for you.

If you’re wanting to head north, the Sunshine Coast is the place to be. On your way, be sure to stop at the iconic Australia Zoo, where you can cuddle with koalas, watch the crocodile show or just admire the wonderful wildlife. Packed with spanning scenic beaches, seaplanes and soaring mountains, make sure to add a Sunshine Coast visit to your next trip.

Mount Tamborine

If you’ve packed your sneakers ready for adventure, then Tamborine Mountain is the place to be. Just outside of Brisbane, this Mountain makes for an adventurer’s paradise!

Start your day with a fresh coffee from the Tamborine Mountain Coffee Plantation then head on one of the many walks across the parkland.

If you’re seeking some thrill, test yourself on the zipline at Thunderbird Park - the largest zipline in Australia! Once you're done flying you can wind down with a walk through the treetops on the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk before heading back to the city.
