Support for Bonza travellers

We understand your travel plans have been disrupted by the suspension of Bonza flights.

So here is a guide to the support available.

Support from Qantas and Jetstar

For Bonza customers who are returning home, Jetstar and Qantas will assist by providing flights at no cost where there are seats available to your nearest destination. For example, they will provide a flight to Brisbane as an alternative to Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.

Contact Jetstar on Live Chat or 13 15 38 or Qantas on 13 13 13 to discuss flight options.

Support from Virgin Australia

Virgin Australia will immediately support any passengers stranded mid-journey by offering complimentary seats on Virgin Australia operated flights to the airport nearest their final planned Bonza destination.

Contact Virgin Australia Customer Centre on 13 67 89.

Federal Government Bonza Passenger Hotline

The Australian Government Hotline to assist affected Bonza passengers is no longer operational.

Contact Qantas, Jetstar or Virgin Australia on the above listed numbers.

Launceston Airport Parking

If you are parked at Launceston Airport and your travel return has been delayed due to the Bonza grounding, please provide evidence of your original travel dates and we will reimburse any parking fee difference. Please contact (03) 6391 6222.

Future Bonza Bookings

If you have a Bonza booking for future flights after 7 May 2024, please monitor the Bonza website https://flybonza.com/ and mainstream media sources for updated information about the Bonza grounding.
