Corporate governance

Australia Pacific Airports Corporation (APAC), together with the Launceston City Council, took over the lease for Launceston Airport in May 1998. APAC runs two airports in Australia: Melbourne (Tullamarine) and Launceston.

The airport is majority Australian owned and is managed locally to benefit the region. We are focused on keeping the airport safe and secure for the long term.

Chairman

Lorie Argus was appointed Chairman of Australia Pacific Airports (Launceston) in 2024.
